The Oceanic Six

Sadly, Oceanic flight 815, Sydney to Los Angeles, crashed mid-flight somewhere in the South Pacific. Amongst the survivors were Luke, Alex and Jason. This is there story.

Luke, Alex and Jason are the trio that make up "The Oceanic Six" - a band writing songs purely inspired by the TV series "Lost", But even if you're not a "Lost" fan, make sure you check them out as they are really talented guys.

Just as they claim to be, they're a mix of Electronica, Powerpop and Rock; giving them a wide range of songs in their repertoire.

Some of their songs include: "Invisible Others", "They Took My Son" and "Mr. Eko". However my personal favorite is "Henry Gale" which is great to listen to and really clever in terms of lyrics.

I asked the members of "The Oceanic Six" a few questions regarding the band, Lost and YouTube.

If you could use one word to describe each member of The Oceanic Six, what would they be?
Luke - Producer
Alex - Leader
Jason - Skilled

I have to ask, out of all of the TV shows you could have picked, why "Lost"?
We all love LOST! We are all into conspiracy theory media, so it works well.

Who are your favorite Lost characters?
Sawyer, Ben, Kate (she is a babe)

Does the confusing plot-line of the show help, or hinder your music?
It helps! Some of our lyrics revolve around the confusing plot line.

Has your affiliation with YouTube helped with publicity? If so, how?
I think it has. We've made a few music videos, and maybe once people get the music in their hands, it will be easier to share with everyone else. :)

What are your plans for the future?
We are planning on doing a second album and past that, the three of us plan on continuing with our musical goals.

As you'll see, this bands appeal comes from the use of awesome lyrics and talented composition which is a combination that is hard to find (excuse the pun).
